COMPANY BACKGROUND:
-NP Precision Inc.
-A precision machined parts supplier to the aerospace and defense industries.
-Growing business
CNC MACHINISTS:
Candidates will have minimum 5 years cnc machining experience with a focus on quality and productivity. He or she will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and will have a desire to continuously improve their skill sets and technical knowledge.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Interpret drawings and process sheets to determine work requirements
-Setup and operate CNC lathes and mills
-Write, edit, and prove out CNC programs
-Perform Quality self inspection
-Be accountable for quality of work performed
-Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes and / or Mills in a precision machine shop
-Experience editing and proving out CNC programs
-Experience reading and the ability to comprehend engineering drawings and manufacturing plans (process sheets)
-Familiarity with process specifications
-Must have working knowledge of speeds and feeds
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
